Awesome gym! All the equipment is modern and new. Would have been better if they had more class offerings and a sauna too, thats why 4 stars.
Very busy gym. People are always in a rush to get in & get out. Mornings are very busy. Space is generally tight. Crowded change rooms and queues for showers are normal during peak times.
Great but small gym. Shower facilities fine. Validated and safe parking.
The gym is relatively small compared to others, they dont offer some of the classes that you will get in other gyms. I use it because its close to work.Otherwise its a good gym
A nice location and a relatively well equipped gym.Cons: the closing times are odd and do not match most other Virgin Active gyms in the area.Parking is okay however there is always a wretched smell in the car park and the entrance to the gym.Ventilation is poor in the gym. and the music playlist does not match the tempo of the Virgin Active brand.
Small parking spots but decent enough for a workout after work..
Honestly, I now appreciate my local club (Hillcrest). It was quite disappointing being a Sandton Virgin Active. Perhaps my expectations were just too high. But in terms of size, equipments etc. Very disappointing.
Very warm welcome from Reception n doesnt end there everyone is willing to help
Good, well maintained facilities and pleasant atmosphere.
